I have been afraid of the dentist since childhood. Dr. Johnson came recommeded from a friend. I was not disappointed.

I have had cavities filled and braces. My braces were done by Dr. Rey. She was great through the whole procedure. I love to smile now and get great compliments.

I have recommended Dr. Johnson to friends and had glowing reports from other dentist phobic patients.

I *adore* my dentist (Dr. Johnson) (how often does one say that?!).

Why? I'm glad you asked. First off, I'm a pansy when it comes to people diggin' around in my mouth. He's understanding of that little personal glitch without being annoyed or condescending about it. He's very patient and actually takes time to talk to you, so you don't feel like you're in a McDonald's DriveThru version of a dental visit.

Additionally, his staff appears to be on happy pills. These people are hap hap happy and actually give a shyt about helping you, which is a rarity in the District where customer service is at a minimum. His hygenist, Andy, is friendly, interesting (from Vietnam, has great stories and cute pix of his child), and communicative about how to best get through the visit without pain (TMI: I had braces which left little grooves near my gums, most dental offices weren't sensitive to the pain that causes during cleanings). Andy cares! ......

We are conveniently located in the heart of Washington DC’s new downtown (Penn Quarter), and we provide a convenient one-stop location for your entire dental needs. We are directly across the street from the 12th and F Street exit at Metro Center metro station. The Red, Blue and Orange metro lines meet at the Metro Center station.

Because we have a range of experienced specialists on our staff, you won’t need to travel to another dental office to meet your continuing oral health needs. Often we can perform advanced dental procedures in our office at a time convenient to you.

Your time is valuable. We know that you can’t afford to spend it waiting in our reception area. Our goal is to serve you promptly and efficiently so that your dental appointment fits smoothly into your busy schedule. We will see you on time, barring a true emergency. We only ask that you extend to us and to other patients the same courtesy, by being prompt for your appointments.

To further assist you in cutting down your time during your visits, we now have our New patient information form on our website. You can fill out this form at your leisure and bring it with you for your first appointment.
